Practical Magic was filmed in 1998. Sandra Bullock starred in it along with Nicole Kidman. Sally (Sandra Bullock) and Gillian (Nicole Kidman) Owen have always been different from everyone else. When their parents die they go to live with their aunts, who were everything but typical. Their aunts taught them to believe in “practical magic”, but believing in the practical magic comes at a price. Many people of that town believed that the Owen’s were under curse. The curse is that the men that fall in love with them will die an ill-timed death. When they grow up the two sisters must fight the curse in order to be in love.
This movie was very good. Sandra’s character is a shy gal that has to fight off the curse in order to fall in love with a guy. She works hard to overcome the curse, but she has her setbacks. Determined to cure the curse once and for all she will stop at nothing to be able to be in love.
